Stacey & Alex chose the impressive stately home of Ardington House as an beautiful backdrop for their wedding day. Ardington House Wedding are situated in the picturesque South Oxfordshire countryside in the village of Ardington. A chocolate box village in the countryside with a local pub and church all within a stones throw of the house, to give you an idea.

They got married outside in the extensive grounds. The ceremony was accessible by a footbridge over the River Thames, under a stunning floral arbour. The day was filled with joy and emotion, the groom being moved to tears, as were many of their close family and friends as his beautiful bride processed down the aisle. Stacey looked radiant and elegant, modelling an A-line gown with a flowing and full skirt designed by Stella York.

The couple are proud parents to their handsome son Arlo, who stole the hearts of many in his smart wedding attire.

There are so many things I love about photographing Ardington House weddings. The vast grounds provided so many amazing locations for bridal portraits, no matter what the weather! And the rooms and stairways inside of the stunning historic stately home are incredibly beautiful. Fortunately, we were blessed with sunshine for the majority of the day, topped off with a fabulous sunset. We managed to drive a few minutes away to the rolling fields around the estate to get some stunning shots. We were also greeted with some gorgeous warm dusk light.

A great day was had by all who were present. The drinks reception was enjoyed on the main lawn outside the back of the house. The guests then moved into the beautifully decorated marquee for the wedding breakfast, speeches and dancing. Stacey & Alex’s son Arlo stole the show on the dancefloor as well!

For similar weddings and styling, feel free to check out my blog section and portfolio!

Here are a few of my favourite images from the day:

The Wedding
