Katherine & Gareth got married on a lovely May spring day at the stunning Merriscourt, A beautiful wedding barn on the border of Oxfordshire & Gloucestershire in the Cotswolds.
The couple came across my work as I am one of the venues recommended suppliers. I have had the honour of photographing there on a number of occasions.

The Venue
Merriscourt is such a stunning venue with a few interlinking wedding barns set to the backdrop of Oxfordshire’s rolling hills. The venue looks stunning in all seasons but really comes alive in summer.
I love the exclusivity of the Merriscourt cotswolds wedding venue and the vast expanse of land and grounds they have. This means that each wedding can be so unique. It is also such a great venue to accommodate for the unpredictable english weather as all of the barn conversions are really picturesque!
Merriscourt Cotswolds Wedding
From the moment I met Katherine and Gareth, I felt like I was a part of the family. It was such a beautiful day to be able to capture. Katherine and her bridal party got ready in the beautiful Old House . (another great thing about Merriscourt is that they have loads of beautiful barn house accomodation so you can make a weekend of your wedding!) And Gareth got ready in the adjoining cottage. The ceremony was held in the beautiful Stone Barn with the drinks reception held out in the courtyard. We then moved into the white barn for the wedding breakfast.
We ventured out into the rolling hills for a sunset photoshoot and then danced the night away back in the stone barn. What an epic wedding!
