I didn’t have to travel far for the wedding Anthony and Louise, in fact, the day started only a street away from my house photographing the preparation, hair and make up at the bride’s house before jumping in the bridal taxi down to the beautiful St Elizabeth of Portugal church in Richmond for the ceremony.
The service itself was very nice, if not a little longer than the couple had originally intended due to the comical theatrics and eccentricity of the elderly vicar and his far from orthodox style but this added to the authenticity of the day and produced a lot of laughs and cringes in the process.
The congregation then headed down to Richmond riverside to catch the elegant ,18th century built, Yarmouth Belle steam wheeler boat up the river to the reception venue which also added a touch of class to the day.
The reception itself was held at the prestigious Lensbury club in Teddington and after we’d got the group and couple shots out the way it was time for the sit down meal and brilliant speeches in the Thames View Suite before everyone proceeded to dance the night away. All in all another great wedding to be a part of.
